Intro A - What Every Christian Scientist Should Know About Christian Science Nursing: 6 Day Retreat $250
Members of the Christian Science community join with Christian Science nursing students to explore Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan and the Church Manual By-law: Christian Science Nurse. With the Pastor as the foundation, attendees learn Christian Science nursing standards and practical tips that aid us in fulfilling our duty to God, our Leader, and to mankind. This course is a stand-alone learning opportunity as well as an anchor for the Christian Science Care-giver and the Basic/Intermediate Christian Science nursing courses.

Intro B - Christian Science Care-giver: 3-5 Days $150 (Only in California.) Add-on course that goes deeper into the ethics, standards, care options, and business of private duty care. Addendum to Intro A (detailed above).

I Basic Christian Science Nursing: 6 Week Course $3000 Begins with the Intro class described above.

Standards, skills, & care options of giving assistive care & light bed care; care of patients’ environment; nourishment; communication; basic cleansing, covering, and bandaging; supportive response to those experiencing immediate care needs.

II Intermediate Christian Science Nursing: 6 Week Course $3000 A review and deepening of ethics, communication, mobility, and assessment skills; giving care in a bed or a chair; intermediate cleansing, covering, & bandaging; support for those experiencing immediate care needs; mental needs support.

+ Levels I & II combined (Zoom & 6 weeks in-person)

Private duty focus - California only $4000

Facility focus adds mentoring 12-16 weeks - Ohio only $4000

III Advanced Christian Science Nursing: 5 Week Course $3000 A review of Christian Science nursing ethics, standards, & skills; giving care to those with wounds and to those experiencing immediate needs; Intro to giving care to children; enrichment for communication and assessment skills.

Zoom & in-person in California only.

IV Leadership and Communication: 6 Week Course $3000 Grand review of ethics, standards, skills, & care options; instruction & mentoring; leadership & management; workshop facilitation & presentation. Must be followed by a period of mentoring in a Christian Science nursing facility.
